We Got You a Ride
For those of you attending the party on Friday, we've added a shuttle that will be running from 6-10 p.m. between our house (900 Falconcrest Lane),
the Hampton Inn, and the Fairfield Inn. We hope this will allow you to have a great time, and still get back to your hotel room safely.
If you want to party later than 10 p.m., you're certainly welcome to do so. Please figure out your designated driver situation, or plan to call a taxi. :)

Other Things Happening on Friday
- Breakfast is on us (if you care to join us) at 9:00 a.m. in The Caf (Falcon Center Dining Hall). Meet us on the 3rd level of the Falcon Center and we'll hang out!
- If getting up early is not for you, then consider meeting us on Main Street (2nd floor of the Falcon Center, outside of Starbucks) at 11:00 a.m. and Mike will lead us on a campus tour. It's likely to be cold, maybe snowing, so dress appropriately.
- For those of you looking for a place to have lunch after the campus tour, we recommend McAteer's (across from campus on Locust Avenue). Heads up - they only take cash, but there's an ATM on the premises. If you want other restaurant recommendations, reach out to one of us via text or FB Messenger.
Check out the Marion County Visitor Center for Fairmont hotel options. Morgantown and Bridgeport are also about 20 minutes away (Morgantown is to the north, and Bridgeport is to the south).

There are three routes from Harrisonburg
- We'll call the first "33 through Elkins" - Highlights of this route include Seneca Rocks and scenic beauty. The downside of this route is the fact that you'll go up and down many, many mountains. It's very curvy until you get through Elkins - from that point, it's smooth sailing with a 4-lane divided highway and I-79N. Total time is about 3.5 hours.
- We'll call the second "through Grafton" - This one might look appealing. Don't buy it. The first half is okay, the second half is a curvy nightmare. This is a definite no-go if you have backseat passengers. Total time is about 3.5 hours.
- We'll call the final route "Alysia's Favorite" - Google Maps isn't going to give you this option automatically, so click on this link to access it. Alternatively, put "Friendsville, MD" as your destination, and then change it to Fairmont once you hit Friendsville. Total curvy time on this route is only about 14 miles. There are lots of turns onto new roads, though, so pay attention! For funsies, see if you can spot the alpacas! Also, there is good coffee to be had at the Lost River General Store in Lost River, WV; at Trader's Coffee House in Oakland, MD; and at Espresso Alley (drive-thru!) in McHenry, MD. You can easily identify Alysia's travel priorities! Total time is about 3.5 hours.
